PROMISELAND

Promiseland is our "fun, child targeted, biblically relevant, intentional shepherding, safe place to be" Children's Ministry. That was a mouthful, but it describes the values we use each week to jump start our ministry into action with the goal of making Promiseland the best hour of our kids week. Kids aren't concerned with the realities of children's ministry, they just want a fun, safe, relevant place to learn about God.

Our kids are going to form their first impressions of God in the local church through our ministry, so we want that picture to accurately reflect how awesome it is to have a relationship with the God of the universe. We want them to love His Word, to want to be a part of a small community, and to be committed to using their spiritual gifts within the church someday. We want to paint an excellent picture of God for them now, while they are young, taught by volunteers who are serving in their area of giftedness.
